Title: Tater Tot Casserole

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Sautee the onion. Once translucent, remove and set aside.
Crumble and brown the hamburger. Drain thoroughly. Return to pan, along with the onion. Mix the soup and milk together in a separate container (using the mushroom soup can to measure the milk. 1/4 cup milk is an estimate that probably needs adjusting!). Add that mixture to the pan and stir. Heat until bubbly. Add to the bottom of an 8x8 glass casserole dish. Layer on the tater tots and cheese, if desired.
Bake uncovered for about 30 minutes, checking at 20 minutes for doneness. Once the tater tots are hot and done, the casserole is complete.

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Shred cheese and chop onion
3. Saute onions, then remove from pan
4. Brown beef w/ salt and pepper, adding onions at the end
5. Mix milk and mushroom soup together then add to beef mixture
6. Spread mixture evenly on bottom of sprayed glass pan
7. Arange tater tots in single layer on top
8. Sprinkle cheese
9. Bake for 40 min or until tots are done
